Membership of formulajedi.com is diverse, covering people form differing backgrounds, race, age & experience. Considering this and to make use of the forum enjoyable for the majority we have adopted the following rules:
1. The forum is provided, free of charge, for the competitors, teams & followers for Formula Jedi. It is a place for discussion and sharing of information, primarily relating to the championship or the cars. A “for sale” section is provided for individuals to advertise items. If you are a commercial organisation and wish to advertise on the forum please contact the Championship Coordinator.
2. Vulgar language or offensive material is not tolerated here and will be removed. The moderators will be sole judges of what does & what does not violate the forums standards.
3. While debating and discussion is fine, respect your fellow members. Being of a diverse background, members are likely to express different opinions, and while opinions may differ from yours, they are just that, opinions; and everyone is entitled to express theirs freely. We will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, or personal attacks. Do not flame, bother, bug, disrespect, hound or taunt ANYONE on the forums or through private messaging. If we feel a thread is getting out of hand we reserve the right to close or delete it. You can/will lose your posting privileges if you continue this type of behavior.
4. If you feel a post is inappropriate please report it to the forum moderator who can take appropriate action.
5. Using the forum to attack Jedi Racing Cars, the Championship or any associated individual will not be tolerated. If you have a complaint please call, PM or email the individual or the Championship Coordinator.
6. Please remember that formulajedi.com is a non subscription forum, owned & run by private individuals for your use. Any post the moderator feels is inappropriate will be removed and your permission is not necessary. The moderators are volunteers who also have full time careers and, as such, do not always have the luxury of limitless free time to explain why posts were deleted. You are welcome to enquire of the moderator why a post was deleted via PM but, under no circumstances, are you to start a discussion or rant about it in the forum or thread itself. Firstly, it serves absolutely no purpose as no moderator will respond to you publicly, other than to state the rules. Secondly, it merely instigates pointless arguments over how the forum should be run.
7. As a last resort we reserve the right to remove users from the forum, either permanently or for a set time.
8. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed and can quite possibly result in both accounts being removed without notice.
9. Please use your real name for your account. Whilst it may be fun to have a pseudonym, users of the forum have a right to know who has made a post. Standards are self-enforcing to some degree if you have to sign your posts rather than have a false name.
10. Please use the PM system if you want to contact another member and do not start a thread “FAO Tom White” etc. The forum is purely for public discussion and not for personal correspondence.
11. Have fun! The forum is there for you to use and enjoy. Treat it with respect and everyone will find it a valuable tool.
